The Rockwall County Republican Men’s Club is excited to announce that they will be meeting in person again for their Monthly Meetings. The Rockwall City Council has approved use of The Center at Rockwall City Place for non-profits, and they are excited to use this venue for their September meeting as it will allow plenty of room for those who wish to socially distance to do so. If you would like to watch the meeting remotely you can do so by going to the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82990985302
This month’s meeting will feature Justices John Browning, Bill Whitehill, and David Evans from our Fifth Court of Appeals, as they speak about the far-reaching implications of this impending judicial election. Also, Rockwall County Elections Administrator Chris Lynch will update the Club regarding key information for the November election.
Additionally, from this point forward, doughnuts, kolaches, and coffee will be provided to all attendees at no cost. There will no longer be a $9 door charge for their meetings. There will no longer be red tickets handed out at the door or collected for breakfast. Thus, there will be no more lines! They are making these adjustments to better streamline their meetings, and get rid of unnecessary confusion. All they ask is that you please send a brief RSVP response to Grant DuBois ([email protected]) in order to let them know you plan on attending so that they are sure to order enough food.
Lastly, they are asking for a few volunteers to help put up signs throughout the County over the next two weeks. If you are interested please email Grant DuBois at [email protected]
