Come and join fellow Republicans for a day of patriotic activities as we honor veterans, first responders, and President Donald J. Trump. The day kicks off at 9:30AM at Wilkerson-Sanders Stadium (1215 T.L. Townsend Dr, Rockwall, TX 75087) where we will be lining vehicles up in order of arrival. All vehicles are welcome and MUST be decorated showing support for President Trump (homemade signs are welcome). Legacy BBQ food truck will be selling breakfast items on location and Trump items will be available with donation. The event will begin with prayer in unity with the Prayer March in Washington D.C. Departure is at 10:45 and the route will take us through downtown Rockwall, over Heroes Bridge, and back across to conclude at Harry Meyers Park. ALL VEHICLES MUST BE STREET LEGAL WITH LICENSE PLATES. THIS IS NOT A PARADE SO ALL TRAFFIC LAWS MUST BE OBEYED.
At 9AM Local dignitaries will be participating in a dedication ceremony at the Hwy 66 Bridge/Boat Ramp. The Highway 66 bridge will be officially names ‘Heroes Bridge’ in honor of veterans and first responders lost to suicide. The event will conclude with the ‘Hands Across the Bridge’ walk of Heroes Bridge.
At 11:15am there will be a fly-over by vintage aircraft from Rowlett over the Bridge into Rockwall.
The post-train festivities are from noon to 2pm at Harry Myers Park and will officially begin when the Trump Train arrives. There will be LIVE music by the Jack Tasty Band, great speakers, food trucks, vendor tables, and a lot more!
